I completely forgot to write about my birthday dinner. My darling wife treated me to an evening at the Metzgerstübli, a small restaurant in the Münstergasse. Jan and Tim were in the capable hands of Lea, so we had nothing to worry about; we spent the whole evening talking about...
children.
You know how it is: Can't wait to get away from the kids, but then you talk about them all the time. Actually, we didn't only talk about our children; but they were a very big part of our conversation. It's ridiculous, but it just can't be helped. They're wonderful kids and deserve to be discussed at length.
Anyway. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was comfortable, and I had my wife all to myself for several hours. A perfect evening. To be repeated.
