My last message on Twitter: Shutting down this account in a couple minutes. Goodbye Twitter!

I was getting so tired of Twitter. After shutting down my private account matthiasg, and my website swisstweets.ch (domain is for sale), there really wasn't any point in continuing the account any longer.

As I see it, Twitter has slowly moved from a social network to yet another tired marketing channel, where everybody is trying to sell something, everybody wants your attention, and nobody really cares for anybody. It's like what happened to blogs years ago. Twitter is just no longer the place I want to spend time in.

So goodbye, Twitter!

Bei XING bin ich auch längst abgemeldet, friendfeed und eine Handvoll andere nie benutzte Accounts habe ich gelöscht... aktuell bin ich noch in der Wikipedia aktiv, und gelegentlich besuche ih Chatroulette und Chatroulette-Klone, aber die sind mittlerweile so schwanzverseucht, dass sie praktisch unbenutzbar sind. Und gebloggt wird hier vielleicht häufiger als sonst. That's it. Bei 100% Arbeit und Familie mit 5 Kids bleibt einfach nicht viel Zeit zu verschwenden.
