No, not another baby... I'm talking about the new German Chancellor, Angela Merkel.
Not that I'm terribly fond of her; she's the typical conservative, anti-feminism, anti-social, take-no-prisoners type we've come to despise with Margaret Thatcher.
But there has never been a female German chancellor before. It was about time they did something about it. Now they have.
BTW, the Swiss Federal Council currently has two ladies and five men.
