abc news: William Fried told eighth-graders at Jane Lathrop Stanford Middle School that stripping and exotic dancing could be lucrative career moves for girls, offering as much as $250,000 or more per year, depending on their bust size.
"It's sick, but it's true," Fried, president of Foster City's Precision Selling, a management consulting firm, told The Associated Press. "The truth of the matter is you can earn a tremendous amount of money as an exotic dancer, if that's your desire."
You can imagine the outrage over Mr. Frieds candid comment on the sorry state of the American industry. As usual, the public didn't understand what he was saying, they just noticed he mentioned sex and tits, and hey, you can't do that in America.
Unless you're a billionaire and your name is Hugh Hefner or Larry Flint.
So Mr Fried tells these kids that their country so fucked up, women can make more money with sex than with honest work.
Are their parents and teachers outraged over the sorry state of their country? No, of course not! They get pissed at Mr Fried for telling the truth. Can't do that in America.
In the US, an increasing number of young people make a fast buck in the porn industry. Which, by the way, is the biggest porn industry in the whole world. I agree with Mr Fried: It's sick.
BTW, here in Switzerland, most "exotic dancers" are illegal immigrants that are being cheated and exploited by their Swiss employers. So it's not a smart career move over here. And I don't recommend it over there, either. Go flip burgers or something.
Nachtrag: Wir haben natürlich auch die eine oder andere Gruppierung, die Mühe mit harten Fakten hat. Nein, ich rede nicht von Potenzstörungen beim Mann; ich rede von derjenigen Partei, die gegen die Plakataktion Stocklesbisch - Vollschwul wettert.
